Kentucky’s July 30, 2026 announcement names AstraQua among six recipients supporting technology development in the commonwealth.

Kentucky named AstraQua among six recipients of state Small Business Innovation Research and Small Business Technology Transfer matching support in an announcement dated July 30, 2026.
The Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development release connects AstraQua’s support with continued development of AstraSense. It describes the challenge of detecting developing degradation and predicting failures in high-voltage, high-noise electrical environments.
The announcement covers $748,620 in combined matching grants across all six companies. This is the program’s total for the announced group, rather than AstraQua’s individual award amount.
State matching assistance complements federally supported research and development. For AstraQua, the milestone connects the matching-fund program with its work on machine-health awareness and predictive health for demanding electrical systems.
