Loay Elbasyouni is an innovative NASA engineer, best known for leading the development of the electrical and propulsion systems for the Mars Ingenuity helicopter. His expertise spans electrification, robotics, and drone technology, having worked on numerous cutting-edge projects, including leading the entire electrical team for rocket avionics at Blue Origin, Ford's first electric car, and NASA’s Artemis 5 Blue Moon mission. As the founder of AstraQua, Loay is pioneering AI-powered autonomous robotics that bridge AUV (Autonomous Underwater Vehicles) and UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) technologies through AI connectivity for advanced exploration. He is also set to become the first Palestinian astronaut.
